The Roots

Welcome to Panks Plants! This is a small business run by a proud plant mom. I started this business in hopes to spread my joy of plants into others. Currently, I have over twenty different species of plants and that number continues to grow. My passion for plants started with my grandparents. Growing up, they had this beautiful garden and some long indoor vines. It was one of my favorite memories I have with them. My grandpa taught me how to take care of a garden by teaching me how to properly pick fruits/vegetables, when to pick them and how to keep those pesty bandits away from them while my grandma taught me the names of her vines indoors. It inspired me to get my first cactus. Unfortunately, I learned that I struggled more to keep them alive. It took me a few tries to find the right plants for me but when I did, I couldn't stop adding to my beautiful jungle!

As for the name of my business, Panks Plants is a nickname. Panks comes from a 1994 film, that due to copyright will not say, about a group of young kiddos. My husband and I watched it when we were first together and loved the nickname one of the little boys gave to another so it stuck. My nickname has been Panky, or Panks, since then. It's a little cheesy but if you have ever met my husband and I, it suits us very well.

Panks Plants is started in memory of my grandpa.
